Lightly breaded wings with a sweet and spicy wing sauce!
These wings are to die for!! Seriously so delicious, with the perfect amount of sweetness and heat to kick things up a notch!
These wings are first cleaned and marinated in some fresh lime juice to give them a little tang! Next we coat in a bread crumb + Parmesan mixture and bake until they're nice and crispy. And lastly, we toss them in a honey sweetened cayenne sauce - so mouth watering!!
These are finger licking good! You may want to double (or triple) the batch because trust me, everyone will want MORE!!!

Ingredients
For the Chicken:
3 lbs chicken wings
Juice of 3-4 limes
1/2 C Italian style bread crumbs
1/2 C grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Pinch of salt
For the Sauce:
1 C Louisiana style hot sauce
1/2 C honey
1/2 C melted butter
1 Tbsp white rice wine vinegar
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (more or less to your taste)
Pinch of salt
Tools:
Baking sheet
Aluminum foil
Non stick cooking spray
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line baking sheet with foil and coat with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.
2. Rinse chicken in warm water and pat dry. Place wings in a large mixing bowl and pour in lime juice. Mix well to fully coat all of the wings. Allow to sit for 10 minutes. Drain lime juice and add 2 tbsp of melted butter - mix well to coat all wings.
2. In a separate bowl combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, garlic powder and pinch of salt.
3. Pour bread crumb mixture over wings and mix well using your hands. Be sure to toss all of the wings in the bread crumb coating. Place wings flat on baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes flipping to the other side halfway through.
4. In a small pot combine honey, Louisiana style hot sauce, cayenne pepper, white rice vinegar and a pinch of salt. Simmer on medium-high for 10-15 minutes, or until mixture slightly thickens.
5. Place wings in a large bowl and pour sauce over to fully coat. Gently toss wings around to be sure they are all coated. Garnish with green onions.
Enjoy!
